The winners of the Travel Photographer of the Year 2019 photo contest have been announced. In the pictures of the prize-winners, street life, nature and culture of the whole planet.
Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) is a global photo competition for experienced and novice photographers of all ages. Choosing the winners of 2019, the judges reviewed more than 20,000 images sent to photographers from 144 countries. The judging ended with an exhibition in London, for which the best shots were selected in the categories: “Oceans, Seas, Rivers, Lakes,” “Street Life,” “People and Cultures,” “Sharp Experiences and Adventures,” “The Dying Planet” and others.
Participation in the competition is paid, the entrance fee is from 8 degrees for single images and 15 for the photo series. Participation in the youth nomination is free. The prize pool and gift packages for the winners may vary from year to year, depending on the composition of the sponsors. The winner of the title “Tourist Photographer of the Year – 2019” was presented with 2,000 pounds and the Fujifilm X-T3 camera complete with a lens.
