Dimitris Ladopoulos – Art Director & Visual Designer, He discovered early on his passion for game visuals, graphic design, motion graphics and cinematography. He finds pleasure working across multiple disciplines and her never stops learning new skills and evolving his craft. He loves combining storytelling with visula design and large part of his work focuses on the reationship between technology, arts and etics.
To tell the story, he mixes different techniques such as live action stop motion animation, CGI, motion design and photography. He always tries to push the limits, explore new techniques and overcome new challenges, combing storytelling with a strong sense of art direction.
The resulting designs look like intricate circuitboards or miniature architectural models, and include networks of gilded elements that glisten despite their digital composition.
To create the works, the algorithm splits a rectangle vertically and then horizontally. “The number of splits is randomly selected from a given max,” he explains. “The outcome is fed to the loop, again and again, depending on the number of user defined iterations. A seed value and slight alterations of the algorithm produce a variety of results.”
